人のちから／human strength

昨日学校でホケンタイクのせんせいはすごいことおしえてくれたよ。

るいかのホケンタイクの先生のおとおとは３さいから９さいのあいだに目は見えなくなって耳もきこえなくなったの。でも、そんなことでじんせいをあきらめなかった。スポーツすっごくすきで、今だはトライアソロンやってるんだよ！こおこおのときもスイエーやってて、ふつうの人にもかってたんだ。ずっとこおこおじだい聞こえなかったけど、今はヒアリングエードつかったるからだいじょおぶ。

るいかすばらしいと思うよ。このはなし聞いたとき人のちからはすごいってわかったの。じぶんはどんなつらい思いしてても、できるって思えば、できるんだよね。どんな人でも、すっごくやりたいことあれば、むりだと思ってもちょおせんしないとね。

Translation:

Today at school, my Health teacher told us something really amazing.

My teacher's little brother slowly lost his sight and hearing between the ages of 3 to 9.

But he didn't let something like that lose hope in his life.

He really loved sports, and now hes doing a triathlon! In high school, he was on the swimming team and won competitions against kids that didn't have disabilities.  

He couldn't hear through his years in high school, but now hes okay since he uses a hearing aid.

I really think that this is incredible. After I heard this, i realized how much strength a human being really has. No matter what your going through, if you believe you can do something, you can really accomplish it. If you really want to do something, no matter how impossible it may seem, you have to try it.
