new songs

So i got a lot of new music for my ipod recently, so i've been listening to music like 24/7. 

I love it when i get new music. It always feels like my life changed a little though, because different music puts me into different moods. It has so much power, thats actually one of the reasons i love music to much, the melody because it puts the mood, and the lyrics because they mean different things to different people even though everyone is hearing the same words. 

Music is so important to me, and i know i should consider myself very lucky.

Red Ribbon Week

English:

This week was red ribbon week! It is to influence a drug free lifestyle. On Monday there were red balloons all over the school campus and we all got red wristbands. And if we kept them on for the whole week, we got lollipops. So i got one today :] I also saw a teacher today wearing a shirt that said "Hugs not Drugs." Drug free is the way to be!

こんシュウはレッドリボンウェーク！ヅラッグなしなセイカツの大切さをおしえるため。月曜日は赤いフウセンは学校じょうにがざってあって、みんな赤いリストバンドをもらった。金曜日まで、つけてた人はアメをもらったよ。るいかももらった。一人の先生は"Hugs not Drugs" ってかいてあるシャツをきてた。みんなも、きよつけよ！

homecoming

English:

I had so much fun this week! On Friday there was Pep Rally and a new band played at our school. Then at night there was a football game at home. And then Saturday was homecoming. Homecoming is this big dance everyone goes to, and the theme was 1920's. I had soo much fun! I didn't go last year, so I was super stoked about going this year.

But since Friday and Saturday was filled up with loud noises, today I just relaxed and let my ears rest. Oh and during the dance too, we had to make sure we weren't too close to the speakers because they were pretty loud. 

I had a great weekend, but tomorrow's back to school :[

It doesn't even feel like the weekend's over because I spend so much of it at school.

コンシュウは楽しかった。金曜日はペップラリーはあって、あたらしいバンドは学校でパフォーマンスをした。そして、その夜はフォットボールゲームはホームであって。土曜日はホームカミング！ホムカミングは学校の大きいダンスだよ。テーマは１９２０’sでみんなキレイだったよ！楽しかった！去年いかなかったから、昨日いけてよかった！

でも、金曜日と土曜日は大きいオトはいっぱいきいてたから、今日はリラックスして、おとなしくしてたよ。ダンスのときもスピーカにちかすぎないように、きよつけた。

すっごく楽しいウェケンドをすごせたけど、明日また学校　:[

ほぼ、学校ですごしてたから、シュウマツってあんまり、かんじなかった。

During school now we have spirit week. Each day we dress up in the order of 80's, 70's, 60's, and finally 50's. And during nutrition they play the hit music from that time. It's really pretty weird how they are so different. Just how much it transforms in the time span of a decade. And now we have so many more genres of music because of what was created before. It's just fun to think about sometimes.

今学校でスピレットウェイークだから、８０’s、７０’s、６０’s、と５０’sのヨウフクをその日にきるんだよ。やすみ時間にその年のヒット曲をいっぱいながすけど、ウタのカンジわよく１０年でこんなに、かわるものなんだな〜って思う。それで、今はそのおかげで、もっといっぱいオンガクのジャンルを考えつくんだな。ときどき、こうゆうこと考えちゃう。

Near where I live there is a big fire going on. The sky is all funky colored red and during passing period at school, i can smell the ash. It's pretty bad. And some of my friends had to be evacuated from their home just in case. Thats when i thought about deaf people. If someone came knocking at their door for an emergency evacuation, they wouldn't notice. They wouldn't even notice the fire in general if they just stayed at home. I realize how things in an emergency situation is much more difficult for them to get information they need. It is also very inconvenient. We have to keep in mind that there are people who need more assistance in these areas. Hopefully if people around them know they are deaf, they can help out. We all need to help each other out :)

るいかはすんでる、とこらへんに大きいカジは今あるよ。空はアカくって、学校のソトにいると、アッシュのニオイはする。けっこう、やばいよ。友達はヒナンしないとダメになった。そこで、耳は聞こえない人はなにするのかな〜って思った。ダレカはキンキュウのヒナンのおしらせにきても、だれもきずかない。ソトにでなかたら、カギじたいをきずかない。キンキュウのシツエーションのとき、ジョウホウをつかむのはたいへんだね。こうゆうタスケはひつような人もたくさんいるから、おたがい　たすけあおうね　：）

Yom Kippur

English:

Today is a Jewish holiday called Yom Kippur.

Since a good portion of my school is Jewish, we get today off and tomorrow off too just because there wouldn't be much meaning in coming back for one day. So I get a good long 4 day weekend. I started out today with sleeping in late. It felt amazing.

But a lot of my friends are telling me how hungry they are because you have to fast during this holiday. But Yom Kippur is the most important of the Jewish holidays.

orthodontist

I've had braces for a little more than 2 years. And i was planning on getting them off soon, but I went to the orthodontist today and they say I still have a lot to go :[

I hate braces so much, but i guess its worth having straight teeth the rest of your life.

Anyone who has braces, I feel your pain. 

But lets get through it together.

Hey guys! It's October. That is national breast cancer awareness month!

All around school today, there were pink balloons and ribbons. 

They are also selling $1 ribbons whose benefits go to that cause. I have to buy one soon :)
