Earthquake Drill

Today we had an earthquake drill 1st period.

It wasn't just us though, it was the biggest earthquake preparedness drill in US history.

All residents of California had to do it at their work or school. 

All the classes had to rush up to the field, but it was so overcrowded we lost our teacher but then found her because she told us where she would be. Even something as simple as that, if there really was an earthquake drill, would be hard for a deaf person to know where to go. Catastrophes are really one of the most important times hearing is needed.

でも、るいかの学校だけじゃなくって、アメリカの中でもいっちばん大きいジシンのドリルだったの。

Californiaにすんでる人はシゴトバか学校でやらないとだめっだた。

でんぶのクラスはフィールドにいかないとだめだったから、先生をなくしちゃったけど、どこにいるかドリルの前にいってくれたから、みつけることをできた。こんなにカンタンのことも、耳は聞こえない人にはむつかしい。カタストロフィは耳は聞こえるのは大切なときだね。
