English:

My family went to see a concert my dad was working for. 

He works with the sound. It was really nice meeting the crew and hearing them thank my dad for all his help. It makes me understand what a nessecity good sound quality is.

Also, I learned that musicians really care about their ears. When my mom and I were going to sit to watch the performance, one of the band members reminded my dad to give us earplugs just in case. And there were also a stack of earplugs in a drawer, so it is an important equipment. Hearing is everything in the music business, so people make sure to take care or their ears.

オトのことではたらいてるの。クルウをあって、トシにいっぱいアリガトウって言ってたとき、いいオトはたいせつなんだってわかった。

ミュジシャンは耳のことをきよつけてるってわかった。パフォマンスを見にいこうとしたら、バンドの一人はトシにイアプラグをあげないとって、言ってくれたよ。そして、いっぱいヒキダシにはいってた。ミュジックビズネスには耳はすっごくたいせつだから、みんな、きよつけてるよ。

Daddys Birthday

Today is my dads birthday!

My mom got him an IPOD touch and Im getting him a cover. 

But the IPOD touch is amazing. He's been using it so much and I want to get one so bad.

You can play games, go on the internet, ad listen to music. 

Its really entertaining! But lets be careful of your hears when using ear phones for a long period of time.

Sign Language

English:

I was trying to learn parts of Japanese sign language on my own, and realized how similar the alphabet is compared to the Japanese characters. Like the vowels are all the same. It's so much simpler when I have something to relate to like that. It's like Spanish. If you understand English, it so so much simpler since there are many cognates. I really do wish to learn JSL though.

日本語の手話をじぶんで、ちょっとならおうと思ってジを見てたら、アルファベットはけっこうにてるってわかった。バオルとかはおんなじ。こうゆうふうに、にてるジあると、おぼえやすい。スペイン語みたい。エイゴわかると、にてるコトバいっぱいあるから、もっとかんたん。でも、るいかはJSLをならいたい。

I had so much fun this weekend.

On Friday my school had it's 2nd home game and we won!

This year we're on a roll since the previous years we were on a loosing streak. 

But football games are always super fun.

It's cold and dark out, theres food, and everybody goes. 

It's loud and crazy and full of excitement. One of the great things about high school.

My school dance room is used for both dance and wrestling. Whenever I'm in there doing warmup, I look up at the walls and there are paintings of dancers and wrestlers. And something about the wrestlers caught my attention. They were all wearing ear guards. I wondered why and went home to research it. I learned it was needed to prevent cauliflower ear which commonly occurs most in Judo players, wrestlers, rugby players, material artists, and boxers. It is basically a deformity of the outer ear, due to the ear suffering a blow. Hearing loss may occur. So sound isn't the only effect of hearing loss.

るいかの学校のダンスのヘヤはダンスとレスリングを二つにつかうの。そこでヲームアップしてるときカベを見るとダンセーとレスラーたちのエをかかれてる。レスラーたちはイアガードをつけてた。なんでけな〜っておもってリサーチしたら、イアガードわカリフラワーイアにならないため。それはジュドウせんしゅ、レスラー、ラグビさんしゅ、マチリアルアーツせんしゅ、とボクサーたちは一ばんなりやすい。耳はへんなかたちになっちゃうの。ナンチョウにもなるきけんはあるよ。オトだけはナンチョウのげいんじゃないね。

I spent most of this weekend reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Its was a really great book that i enjoyed reading. All of my friends are obsesssed with it, its crazy. Today my friend let me borrow the 2nd one in the series, New Moon. So im super excited. But im also excited for the Twilight movie thats coming out soon! Ahh I cant wait to see it!!!

Jack Johnson

English:

On Monday, so many people at my school had a chance to go to the Jack Johnson concert. I am still so jealous. I see people around school wearing his t-shirt, and I wish I could have gone. One of my best friends went with her friend to the concert and they said that tickets were still on sale so I could go, but it was $40 and I didn't have that much on me. But it was outdoors at night and everyone had so much fun. Im a big fan of his music. 

My favorite song of his: Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

月よう日にいっぱいるいかの学校お子はJack Johnsonのコンサートに行ったよ。うらやましいな〜　学校中コンサート　チーシャツきてる人を見て、いけたらいいな、って思う。るいかの友達はその子の友達とコンサートに行って、チケッテまだうってるってるいかに言ったけど、＄３０そのときなかった。夜のソトのコンサートでみんな　すっごく楽しめたみたい。るいかもファンだよ。
